The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has appointed a director of Aro News, Dr. Friday Kanu Ohuche as its Senior Policy and Research Advisor in the office of the President. 

Ohuche’s remit at the Bank is to lead dedicated Research Teams and developing evidence-based policy proposals and strategies on how the Bank will achieve its “High 5s Agenda” including “Light up and Power Africa”, “Feed Africa”, “Industrialize Africa”, “Integrate Africa” and “Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa”

In the appointment letter, the Bank noted that Ohuche’s vast experience as a Development Economist and International Economic Governance expert will be useful in driving its flagship programmes and projects in African countries.

The job is full time, and Ohuche has already assumed duty at the Headquarters of African Development Bank in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
