Amangwu village, Arochukwu, scholarship committee, has released names of winners of the Amangwu tertiary and secondary school scholarships 2023. A total of 11 Amangwu students comprising four males and seven females will receive the university level scholarship, while a total of 35 students comprising 15 males and 20 females are to receive the secondary school level scholarships.
The Chairman of Aro News Publications Ltd,, Mazi Emma Kanu Ivi, is sponsoring the scholarship of two university students and 20 secondary school students, while the Mazi Fredrick Eze Foundation through Mazi David Ukachukwu Eze will bankroll five university and 15 secondary school students’ education.
Chairman of the committee Amb. Chibuzo Okereke, had on behalf of the leadership of the Amangwu Development Union (ADU), thanked the pioneer donors of the scheme for believing in the vision of transformative human capital development of Amangwu youths through access to basic and higher education. He called for more donors to key into the scheme in order to educate more Umu Amangwu for the socio-economic development of the village.
