The remains of Mazi Augustus Oti Oji committed to mother earth on Friday, August 5, 2023 at his family home in Atani village, Arochukwu, Abia State. Mazi Oji was born about 103 years ago into Ndi Oti Anicho kindred of Atani Arochukwu.
He started his education with the support of late Rev Chima Oji at St Barnabas Anglican Primary School, Omoba, Abia State and thereafter, proceeded to Aggrey Memorial College, Arochukwu. After his education at Aggrey, he enrolled with Wolsey Hall College UK , from where he bagged the London Advanced level GCE. He worked with the P&T and was a major supplier to NNPC and Peugeot motors all in Kaduna.
Mazi Augustus Oji was a life patron of Atani Welfare Union worldwide and Nzuko Arochukwu Kaduna branch. He left to mourn him, his wife, Madam Lucy Oti, daughter Ezinne Oji, brother Mazi Chima Oji, and a host of other relations including Mazi Chekwas Albert Oti immediate past President General, Atani Welfare Union, worldwide, Mazi Onyebuchi Oti, Mazi Udo Anicho, Dr Emenike Odoemelam etc.
