Celebrated Aro News columnist, Rev Sam Aka, laid to rest

The remains of Rev (Dr.) Sam Chidozie Nwamara Aka was laid to rest at his Ugwuavo New Layout residence, Arochukwu on Saturday, November 4, 2022.

His burial came after a service of songs held in his honour at the same venue on Friday, November 3, 2022.

The burial rites of the late presiding Pastor of House of Fresh Fire kicked off in Lagos with a service at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministrym Headquarters in Yaba, where he served as an International Director of one of its  foremost clubs in the Church. The service was presided over by the General Overseer of the Ministry, Prof. DK Odukoya, followed by another service of songs at his residence in Lagos on October 30, 2022.

Rev. Aka was educated at RSSDT, California amongst several other institution. He worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Credit and Commerce, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and the Department of Customs and Excise. 

Later in his career, Rev Aka established the first private detective firm in Nigeria, SF Investigation and Security Services. 

He was the Senior Pastor of the House of Fresh Fire and also Chairman of Trudor Communication and Truoil Nig.

A man in tune with his community development aspirations, he was a member of Nzuko Arochukwu, Atani Welfare Union and Aro-Okeigbo Social Club of Nigeria, (AROSOSN), Lagos branch.

For several year, Rev Aka maintained a popular column (Life Coach) in Aro News, through which he espoused teachings in morality and spirituality.

He left to mourn him, his wife Pastor Dorothy Aka, children and grand children.
