The Central Executive Committee of Nzuko Aro has inaugurated a transition Committee for Nzuko Aro Home Branch. This follows the dissolution and approval of NEC meeting held at home recently.
Inaugurating the (5) man member committee at the Civic centre, Oror Arochukwu, the 2nd Vice President General, Mazi Eugene Okey Imuoh who is the coordinator of the committee reminded them of the task ahead of them which is to ensure the paticipation of all Aro sons in the transition arrangement. He reminded the committee of their mandate to engage and consult with stakeholders in Nzuko Aro Home Branch. To produce a transition plan and present to CWEC on how to deliver a credible free & fair election in Nzuko Aro homebranch. To coordinate all acivities that will produce a credible, free and fair election for Nzuko Aro home branch in not less than three months and not more than (6) months of the approved transition plan. Mazi Eugene assured the team that Nzuko Aro is willing to give them all practicable assistance that will make the assignment easy for them.
Members of the committee inlcude Dr. Sampson Orji as the Chairman and Mazi Okey Okoroji as Secretary. Other members are, Monday Iroegbu, Ihedi Akpo and Okwudiri Obed.
Responding on the behalf of the committee, the chairman, Dr. Sampson Orji said because he has a good team to work with, they will do their best to restore the past glory of Nzuko Aro Home Branch. Prominent Aro sons who attended the inauguration ceremony include: Mazi Stephen Kanu, John Okoro, Dr. Samuel Okoro and Mazi Ajero among others. It was a colourful celebration.
